Kellie De Leo Bio 2017

Training Group Representative

Ms. De Leo lives in Sunny Southern California where she has spent most of her adult life. Kellie graduated from California State University of Fullerton with a Business Degree with a concentration in Marketing.  While going to school, Kellie worked as a project manager for a couple of aerospace companies.  In between working and going to school Kellie volunteered at her parish as a catechist.  When she left the aerospace industry, her pastor asked her to come work for the Church as the middle grade coordinator and parish secretary part-time.  Kellie has worked her way up to and is now the Director of Faith Formation for St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Long Beach.  She has worked in faith formation for over twenty years, as both a volunteer and professional.  Kellie also holds Master Certification with Orange Diocese in Catechesis.  She is continuously exploring ways to meet adults, children and families where they are in their religious education journey and to a have a deeper relationship with Christ. . . and one of those ways is technology.  Kellie attended a workshop put on by Sister Caroline Cerveny through Interactive Connection and caught the bug to help others utilize technology in their ministry.  Kellie has been a board member for Digital Discipleship Network and a coach for Digital Discipleship Bootcamp since the Summer of 2015.
